I produced Tony Robbins seminars all over the world between 1991 through 1998.
We used multi delay line audio package using over 30 speakers in the system. Tony’s requirement was to use a wireless lav, then be able to whisper to this size audience as well as scream at the top of his lungs, quite a challenge.
Lighting was a mixture of video lighting and automated.
Video system was three screens, four camera shoot, with graphic and instant video playback, yet almost every show was different.
The picture here is the Bren Event center (a basketball arena) on the UCI campus. Audience was 5000. The challenge was Tony’s request to make a large venue more intimate. So we lowered the ceiling by building a 120’ square box truss with cross section. Then took custom muslin panels 60’ square are made a top. The sides where then draped and the floor carpeted.
AN INSTANT BALLROOM. The event was a huge success.
