“Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA 1945-1980″—the Southern California region-wide initiative showcasing the rise of the Los Angeles art scene. Kicking off the massive cultural collaboration was a massive party for 1500 at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. MSA was tasked by executive producer J. Ben Bourgeois and technical director Greg Christy of Brite Ideas with creating the projection and media server system to cover all five buildings on of the Getty Center’s arrival plaza. We utilized five catalyst towers feeding high resolution content to four 30,000 and two 15,000 lumen Christie Digital Projectors to cover the over 1000 linear feet of projection surface. Content for this project was developed by David Corwin.
